How we score: the mark out of 5, the registers and the sources
Playing with your head on
Every mark on this site comes from checks you can repeat yourself: the licence register and the casino's terms. Here are the rules of the mark, the sources with their dates, what we leave out on purpose, and who writes the pages.
The mark out of 5 on our list of casinos with no Spanish licence is not an opinion about the lobby or about the bonus. It is the sum of specific checks, each with a source you can open yourself.
The mark, point by point
Three points come from the licence register:
- 2 points if the casino's domain is covered today by a live licence: an “Active” certificate at cert.cga.cw, or an entry in the Anjouan register whose expiry date has not passed. Without this, the casino does not enter the ranking at all.
- 1 point for how much life the licence has left: the full point for an active Curaçao certificate, or for an Anjouan entry with more than 90 days to run; half a point if it expires sooner.
Up to two points come from the casino's terms, read live from our server:
- 0.5 if the terms could be opened and read live.
- 0.5 if they say when the casino may ask for documents.
- 0.5 more if they give a specific figure above which they ask.
- 0.5 if they publish the list of countries they do not accept players from.
- 0.5 if the cashier carries eight coins or more, or the catalogue names forty providers or more.
Half a point for a check of our own: TrustDice, where we opened a real account and followed the cashier.
The total is capped at 5 and rounded to half points.
Why the terms have to open live
Plenty of crypto casinos will not let their legal pages open from a server, or load them with code that never renders. Where we could not read the terms live, that part of the mark stays at zero and the card says so: “We only checked the register”. We would rather publish a lower mark than one built on old copies of a page.
The sources, and their dates
| Source | What we take from it | Date |
|---|---|---|
| cert.cga.cw | Certificate, holder, number, date, status | 18.09.2026 |
| The public Anjouan register | Holder, number, issue, expiry, domains | 18.09.2026 |
| Each casino's terms | Documents, countries, coins, providers | August and September 2026 |
| Vave's help centre | Minimum deposits by network | Table dated 18.09.2023 |
| Our accounts at Vave and TrustDice | Sign-up, cashier and withdrawals | August 2026 |
Every register screenshot on this site was taken on 18 September 2026 from a server in Europe, searching for each casino's domain.
What we do not score
- The bonus. It changes weekly; we handle it separately in bonuses and wagering.
- Payout speed. We cannot measure it at casinos we have not withdrawn from, and two withdrawals at Vave are not a statistic.
- Other sites' opinions. Copying figures out of other reviews is the quickest way to repeat somebody else's mistake.
What keeps a casino out of the ranking
A casino is left out when the register does not confirm the licence it prints: revoked, expired, withdrawn or not found. On 18.09.2026 that was four of them, and they are set out in licences that do not add up.
Who writes this
This site is written by a small desk that reads registers and casino terms. We are not a casino: we take no deposits and no bets, and we pay out nothing. No casino pays to be on the list or to sit where it sits: the order comes from what the register answers and from the terms each one publishes.
If you see something here that is no longer true — a renewed licence, a changed clause, a casino that now takes or refuses players from somewhere — the register is the source that settles it. The steps for checking are in how to check a casino licence.
